Location: the hotel was just off the old town of Avila, historic town centre and the highlights of Avila. Avila Wall district was worth staying in. The room was a nice size, equipped with nice linens, comfortable bed, as example, it accommodated us perfectly.

We appreciated being there. We spend 3 nights in Avila lovely. There was plenty of outstanding meals. The hotel had a central location to good restaurant.

We had a really nice time here and would come back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel in a great location. The rooms were modern and clean, with comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed the attached cafe, which had delicious coffee. The staff was friendly and accommodating. we highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Its exellent location combined with its more than decent price range make this an excellent hotel. Combine this with its modern and clean facilities and with a great and friendly host who is native to Avila. This makes this hotel for me a top recommendation.

Conveniently located near the walled city with easy street parking. Recently renovated, with modern and clean furnishings. Spacious room with well-equipped, new bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the owner who went above and beyond to assist with a motorbike issue. a great choice for exploring the historic area.

I went on a trip and everything here was perfect. Lovely modern units with adequate space, nice linens plus comfortable beds, and the staff were GENUINELY HELPFUL. Enjoyed the very nice restaurant. I have stayed here before and will be back.

The Hotel Puerta De La Santa is fantastic. Its location. Its decor, its rooms and its small cafe are all quality. We were greeted and looked after and made to feel very welcome, despite our dusty bikers' appearance. A small extra for us was that we were able to store our bikes safely in the small underground carpark. It's a new hotel and its decor reflects this - modern and good quality.The location is just perfect too. We simply had to cross the road and step into the historic walled city of ávila or stroll along the outer-wall promenade to some great places to eat and drink. I was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Hotel Puerta de la Santa and I will return.

I was on a motorcycle tour of Spain and was staying for one night in Avila.The hotel was easy to get to and the provided me with secure parking for my motorcycle in a garage on the premises for not additional charge. The building was very new and spotlessly clean. The staff spoke enough English for me to get by, were friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located next to one of the entrances in the walls, the room was spotless and comfortable and had a good shower. The simple breakfast was inexpensive. All in all it satisfied all my requirements.

Good clean modern hotel with excellent location right next to town walls. Free car parking very nearby and good pay-parking (underground) only 50 metres away.
